We believe that prioritizing your mental health and well-being is a courageous act worth celebrating.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We generally spend the first several sessions discussing a range of topics including your childhood experiences, academic history, important relationships, cultural identities, coping strategies, significant life events, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

We tailor evidence-based treatment principles to the needs of each individual and center the work in understanding how social and cultural contexts affect the way we relate to ourselves and others.

We bring humor and lightness to the therapy space, while also creating safety to explore painful emotions, thoughts, or memories. We invite feedback at all stages of therapy and will be transparent with our recommendations and insights.

  • Yes, we’re happy to provide both options. We recognize the convenience that telehealth offers busy healthcare providers. At the same time, we know that many people prefer engaging in-person. Our office is located 0.2 miles from a commuter rail station and on a street with plenty of metered parking.

  • We are not currently in-network with insurance. If you have an insurance that offers out-of-network benefits, you may be able to receive reimbursement for sessions. We will provide you with a superbill, a detailed receipt of services received, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Please be sure to contact your insurance provider to request more specific information about your plans reimbursement rate, deductible and mental health coverage.
